1st impressions are everything…..
Well, it has been a very exciting week, so far, at 55 Grove Road. The staircase is in situ and the steel cladding has been installed around the perimeter of the walkways and the projecting balcony. The staircase will be finished off in a chunky wooden handrail and the steps will be filled with concrete for a really modern and industrial look and feel.
The projecting balcony is also coming along very nicely. The mild steel trim around the base will be finished off with polished chrome bolts, and then we will add a frameless glass wall around it. This is up to the right as you enter the building so will really add that wow factor. (no wonder this office has already been snapped up!!)
The team have been working flat out and the building is really coming to life. The exposed copper pipework is going to look fantastic against the exposed brickwork, and the vertical anthracite radiators are going to add that extra touch of designer feel to the building and workspaces.
The electricians are also hard at work and the suspended light fittings in each office will not only look cool, but have been designed by lighting experts to ensure an even distribution of light to each office and enhance the overall working conditions for all those who will be moving in.
